Practice Hours

By Appointment Only

Monday-Friday 10:00am - 5:00pm

Saturday-Sunday 9:30am - 12:00pm

What To Bring

1. -4’ leash
   

2. -Poop Bags
   

3. -Throw toy that your dog prefers, that floats
   

4. -You are welcome to bring a crate (especially helpful if you have multiple dogs)
   

5. -Drinking water for you and your dog
   

6. -Shade (recommended for the hotter months)
   

7. -Towel
   

8. -Water resistant footwear is recommended

Club Donations

Our fantastic volunteers are dedicated to helping club members at the dock and pool.  All of your donations go back into the club to help us with equipment, t-shirts, events, prizes, banquets and more! 

LVDD Club Members Practice Schedule:

Included with your LVDD Membership is a monthly practice session at our practice dock & pool each month for a 1/2 hour session by appointment.  You are able to book online here:

(Silver Members: free) (Bronze Members: $5 per dog)

1. -Maximum 4 dogs per 1/2 hour session
   

- If members choose to jump more than once a month, the dock is also open for private rentals

The official DockDogs wranglers at Las Vegas DockDogs will help you introduce your dog to the dock, build focus and drive, and increase strength and lift.

Non-Members, New Dogs/Handlers:

New Dogs/Handlers are welcome to use our practice dock & pool a free, one time, 1/2 hour session by appointment.  You are able to book online here:

 

In addition, you can rent the dock & pool if you’d like additional practice, or please considering joining the LVDD club.

1. -1/2 hour, 3 dogs max., suggested donation for the club is $30.00
   

1. -1 hour, 3 dogs max, suggested donation for the club is $50.00

Guidelines

  

1. -Four (4) Dog maximum during ANY practice session.
   

1. -Please Park on the Sit Means Sit property, inside the gate.  
   

1. -Make sure you have signed a waiver prior to jumping your dog.  
   

1. -Sign in & mark your start and finish time 
   

1. -Adhere to all official DockDog Rules during practice & jumps 
   

1. -Collars:    
   

Only flat buckle collars may be worn on the dock.  Choke collars, prong collars or electronic collars, gentle leaders, halti-collars, or any other collar other than a flat buckle-type collar, are not allowed once the dog is on the dock during an official Dock Dogs sanctioned event.  Any collars of this nature must be removed prior to stepping onto the dock at any time including during practice.

**However, because this is club PRACTICE @ our private training dock/pool we allow the use of training collars on the dock. 

1. -All dogs must be on lead unless they are on the dock 
   

1. -All dogs must be crated or held by the handler while not staging for practice.  Crating area is provided in the garage.   
   

1. -5 Minute Barking Rule: If your dog is continuously barking for 5minutes, do something about it!  
   

1. -Dogs should not be pushed OR pulled into the pool.   
   

1. -Please pick up after your dog
